Kidnapped girl found alive: According to a Atlanta News report, Ayvani Hope Perez was found 25 miles away from her home walking along Covington Highway in Conyers. She is in good spirits and in good health and has been reunited with her family.

After having been found safely, the kidnapped girl's abduction is the subject of an intense investigation by several agencies since the kidnapped girl's mother might be linked to one or more of the suspects in the kidnapping case.

Two people were taken into custody as suspects in the kidnapping case and two more suspects are being pursued. While authorities are rather tight-lipped about the case, CBS News Crimesider has linked the location of the kidnapping and a 2012 drug charge arrest of the kidnapped girl's mother to at least one of the suspects.

“The kidnapping happened on a cul-de-sac in Ellenwood, a small community about 10 miles southeast of Atlanta, police said. Stockbridge, where the 2012 drug trafficking arrests occurred, is about 10 miles from Ellenwood.”
