'Glee' star Cory Monteith found dead at age 31 in Vancouver hotel room only 3 months after rehab (Video)

On Friday night, 31-year-old “Glee” star Cory Monteith was with other people. Early Saturday morning, he returned alone to his hotel room on the 21st floor in Vancouver's Fairmont Pacific Rim hotel. By Saturday noon, Cory Monteith was found dead by hotel staff when the “Glee” actor hadn’t checked out of the hotel as scheduled.

According to police, by the time hotel staff found Cory Monteith, he had already been dead for several hours. Police do not suspect any foul play but Cory Monteith’s cause of death is still undetermined. So far police do not know whether Cory Monteith’s  longtime girlfriend and co-star Lea Michele or any other “Glee” actors were at the hotel or why Cory Monteith was there.

In March, Cory Monteith had checked himself voluntarily into rehab for one month for substance abuse. Lea Michele and other “Glee” actors were very supportive of Cory Monteith’s decision to deal with his substance abuse.

Cory Monteith’s untimely and tragic death is shocking the world.
